Become a KC Scholar at Donnelly
Whether you're a high school student or adult learner who is looking to continue your education, you may be eligible to apply for the Great Jobs KC – KC Scholars Scholarship Program and attend Donnelly College. Scholarship opportunities are available to low- and modest-income students living in Cass, Clay, Jackson and Platte counties in Missouri, and Johnson and Wyandotte counties in Kansas.
Donnelly College will accepts two scholarships from the KC Scholars Program:
- Applications submitted by students in 11th grade.
- Provides for up to $50,000 paid directly to the college, over the course of up to six years.
- Requirements:
- Be home-schooled or attend a public, charter or private high school in the following counties: Cass, Clay, Jackson and Platte (MO) or Johnson and Wyandotte (KS)
- Must maintain a 2.5 GPA or higher
- Must be income eligible: Your Student Aid Index (SAI) calculation on the Federal Student Aid Estimator must be $12,000 or less.

- Must be age 18 or older.
- Provides up to $50,000 paid directly to the college over the course of up to six years.
- Can enroll either full- or part-time.
- Requirements:
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Live in one of the six eligible counties (KS: Wyandotte, Johnson; MO: Cass, Clay, Jackson, Platte)
- Have not previously earned a bachelor’s degree
- Have not previously been awarded a KC Scholars Scholarship
